TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Right Lane Closure Scheduled on Inbound Paris Pike (U.S. 27/68) in Fayette County

Right lane closed for tree cleanup operations

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 5, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled right lane closure on inbound Paris Pike (U.S. 27/68) in Fayette County for tree cleanup operations.

Beginning Thursday, Aug. 6, the right lane will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on inbound Paris Pike (U.S. 27/68) between Iron Works Pike and Johnston Road (mile points 13 to 14.5), weather permitting.

Motorists should use extra caution, reduce speed, and watch for crews working in the area.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies, and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
