Lexington, KY. (July 29, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be hosting a Public Meeting regarding a corridor wide planning study on North Broadway between Main Street and Kingston Road in Lexington.
The objective of this study is to evaluate existing conditions and propose solutions and strategies that promote safe mobility for all roadway users on North Broadway. The study team is ready to display these conceptual, complete street solutions that will make North Broadway a safer and more useful roadway for the community and the traveling public.
The purpose of this meeting is to gather input on these conceptual improvements. Community feedback plays an important role in refining these concepts and in helping guide the next phases in the planning process.
Local officials, community stakeholders, and interested members of the public are invited and encouraged to attend a public meeting for the North Broadway Corridor Study on Tuesday, August 11, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dunbar Community Center located at 545 N Upper St, Lexington, KY 40508.
The meeting will be conducted in an open house format, allowing attendees to arrive at any time during the two-hour event. Study team members will be available throughout the meeting to present information, answer questions, and discuss the conceptual ideas that are being considered for the corridor.
