Right two lanes closed 8 p.m. tonight to 7 a.m. Wednesday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 12, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of overnight lane closures for pavement work on southbound Interstate 75 at Lexington in Fayette County beginning tonight.
Work will take place from 8 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, June 23, through 7 a.m. Wednesday morning, June 24, with the right two lanes of southbound I-75 temporarily closed between mile markers 113 and 111 (between Paris Pike and the southern split). All traffic will be restricted to the far left lane. The Paris Pike exit ramps will remain open.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in work areas.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
