Shoulder repairs planned June 17-18
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 15, 2026) —The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 1977 (Spurr Road) in Fayette County.
KY 1977 (Spurr Road) will be closed between mile points 3.8 and 4.2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17, and Thursday, June 18.
The closure is necessary for crews to repair a damaged shoulder. No through traffic will be permitted during work hours.
Motorists should seek an alternate route and use caution when traveling through the area.
