Traffic will be reduced to one lane with temporary signals
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 5, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled lane closures on Lexington Road (US 68) for drainage work.
The roadway will be reduced to one lane between mile points 18 and 20 starting Monday, June 8, to Friday, June 12. Temporary traffic signals will be in operation.
Work will take place between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.
Motorists are advised to follow traffic control instructions, use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
