TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Rolling Roadblocks Scheduled on KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County

Pothole repairs planned June 3-4

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 28, 2026) —The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled rolling roadblocks on KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County for pothole repair operations.

Wednesday, June 3

  • Rolling roadblocks are scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to midnight on KY 4 (New Circle Road) outer loop between mile points 7.2 and 2.0. Operations will begin near Leestown Road and continue to Harrodsburg Road.

Thursday, June 4

  • Rolling roadblocks are scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to midnight on KY 4 (New Circle Road) inner loop between mile points 2.0 and 7.2. Operations will begin near Harrodsburg Road and continue to Leestown Road.

Rolling roadblocks will occur on travel lanes and ramps throughout the work zone. Message boards will be placed in advance to notify motorists of the upcoming operations.

Motorists should expect short delays and use caution while traveling through the area. Motorists are advised to reduce speed and watch for personnel and equipment in the work zone.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
