Resurfacing operations planned tonight, May 21
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 21, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled overnight lane closures on North Broadway in Fayette County for resurfacing operations.
Alternating lane closures are scheduled tonight from 6 p.m. through 6 a.m. tomorrow morning on North Broadway between 2nd Street and 7th Street, weather permitting.
The lane closures are necessary to complete resurfacing work.
Motorists should use caution, reduce speed and watch for personnel and equipment in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
