Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for crews working
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 19, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled rolling roadblock operations for pothole repairs in Montgomery County on Interstate 64.
Rolling roadblocks are scheduled Friday, May 22, from midnight to 6 a.m., weather permitting, between mile points 104 and 115.
Crews will begin operations on I-64 westbound near mile point 115. After the westbound lanes are completed, crews will switch to the eastbound lanes.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
