Maintenance repairs planned May 14
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 13, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 169 (Keene Road) in Jessamine County for maintenance repairs.
KY 169 will be closed at mile point 13.7 on Thursday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting. Crews will repair shoulders and ditch lines in the area.
Motorists should use KY 29 (Wilmore Road) as an alternate route during the closure.
Message boards are in place to notify motorists about the upcoming closure.
Motorists are advised to slow down, use extra caution and watch for crews working.

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
