Roadside spraying operations planned May 13
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 12, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled mobile roadside spraying operations on Versailles Road (U.S. 60) in Fayette and Woodford Counties.
Operations are scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting.
Operations will occur on Versailles Road (U.S. 60) in Fayette County between mile points 4.7 (New Circle Road) and 0.0 at the Woodford County line. Operations will continue on Versailles Road (U.S. 60) in Woodford County from mile point 0.0 at the Fayette County line to mile point 9.3 (U.S. 60 bypass).
This will be a mobile spraying operation in the fast lane to treat weeds and grass in the raised median areas.
Motorists are advised to slow down, use extra caution and watch for crews working.

All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
