Off ramp to Paris Pike closed 6:30 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Tuesday
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 30, 2026) – Construction for the I-75 widening project in Lexington will require a temporary ramp closure on I-75 North/I-64 West at Paris Pike from Friday night, May 1, through Tuesday morning, May 5. The closure will allow contractors to upgrade the ramp as part of the I-75 widening project.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m. Friday, the off ramp from northbound I-75/westbound I-64 to Paris Pike (Exit 113) will close for construction. The off ramp will reopen by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Traffic will be detoured to Exit 110, using Winchester Road (U.S. 60) to New Circle Road (KY 4) to Paris Pike (U.S. 68). Drivers can also detour via Exit 115, then take Newtown Pike to New Circle Road (KY 4) to Paris Pike (U.S. 68).
Friday, May 1 – Tuesday, May 5
- At 6:30 p.m. Friday evening, the exit ramp from northbound I-75/westbound I-64 to Paris Pike (Exit 113) will close.
- To detour to Paris Pike, traffic will either exit at Winchester Road (Exit 110) or Newtown Pike (Exit 115) and take New Circle Road to Paris Pike.
- The ramp will reopen by 6 a.m. Tuesday morning.
The work is part of the I-75 widening project. When complete in 2026, this project will reduce congestion and improve safety throughout the 2-mile corridor from the Paris Pike exit to the I-64/75 southern split. It is the second of two projects to widen I-64/75 to four lanes each direction in Fayette County. Find more information online at DrivingLexingtonProgress.org.
All work/closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
