Slide repair work planned April 24-29
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 23, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled lane closure on KY 37 (Forkland Road) in Boyle County for slide repair work.
Work will take place Friday, April 24 and Monday, April 27 through Wednesday, April 29 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., weather permitting.
The closure will be located between mile points 1.28 and 1.93, eastbound, near the Forkland Community Center.
This will be a single-lane closure with flagging operations.
To avoid delays, motorists may use alternate routes including KY 1856 (Scrubgrass Road), KY 1108 (Mitchellsburg Knob Road), and KY 34 (Lebanon Road).
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work area.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
