Daytime closures planned April 23-24 and April 27
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 21, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled road closures on KY 749 (Beaver Lake Road) in Anderson County for cross drain replacement.
KY 749 will be closed between mile points 0.0 and 1.2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23; Thursday, April 24; and Monday, April 27, weather permitting. The roadway will reopen to traffic after 2 p.m. each day.
Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure hours.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
