Daytime closure planned April 22-24
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 20, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled road closures on KY 537 in Montgomery County for cross drain repair.
KY 537 will be closed between mile points 5.3 and 7.7 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily on Wednesday, April 22 through Friday, April 24, weather permitting. The roadway will reopen to traffic after 4 p.m. each day.
Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure hours. Suggested alternate routes include KY 1991 (Hinkston Pike).
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
