Daytime closures planned April 20-22
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 17, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled road closures on KY 1160 (Talmage Mayo Road) in Mercer County for cross drain work.
KY 1160 will be closed between mile points 9.0 and 11.0 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Monday, April 20 through Wednesday, April 22, weather permitting. The roadway will reopen to traffic after 3 p.m. each day.
The closures are necessary to complete blacktopping work associated with cross drain installation.
Motorists should seek alternate routes during closure hours.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the area.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
