Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for crews working
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 7, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled overnight rolling roadblock operations on Interstate 75 in Madison County for pothole repairs on Friday, April 10.
Work will take place from midnight to 6 a.m., weather permitting.
Operations will occur throughout the night in both the northbound and southbound lanes between mile points 74.7 (Madison/Rockcastle County line) and 97.7 (Madison/Fayette County line).
Rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will be utilized, with assistance from the Kentucky State Police, and temporary traffic delays are possible during operations.
Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
