LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 7, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled ramp closure on Interstate 75 in Madison County. The closure is necessary for high friction surface treatment (HFST) to be applied.

High friction surface treatments are pavement safety applications that help reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities, especially during wet roadway conditions.

Work will take place overnight on Friday, April 10 from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday, April 11, weather permitting.

Interstate 75 – Southbound

  • The second off-ramp (Exit 90A) from Interstate 75 southbound at mile point 89.8 will be closed

Alternate Route
