TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Street Sweeping Operations Scheduled on KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County

Daytime work planned April 1-2

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 31, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled street sweeping operations on KY 4 (New Circle Road) in Fayette County.

Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 1 and Thursday, April 2. Crews will be sweeping roadway shoulders to remove debris.

Operations will occur on both the inner and outer loops between mile points 4.6 and 10.0 (Versailles Road overpass to Boardwalk). Work will be performed on the shoulder next to the barrier wall.

Motorists should use caution and watch for personnel in the area.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
