TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Road Closure Scheduled on KY 1050 in Montgomery County

KY 1050 to close at mile point 3.5 for cross drain repair 

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 16, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled road closure on KY 1050 in Montgomery County for cross drain repair.

KY 1050 will be closed at mile point 3.5 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19 and Friday, March 20.

Motorists should use KY 599 as an alternate route.

Motorists are advised to use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work area.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
