TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Work Scheduled Along New Circle (KY 4) and I-75 in Fayette County

Shoulder and lane closures planned March 9-13

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 6, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled maintenance next week along KY 4 and Interstate 75 in Fayette County. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday, March 9-13:

  • I-75 southbound at Exit 99 (Clays Ferry), shoulder closure
  • KY 4 (New Circle Road), inner and outer loop from Exit 6 to KY 1681, shoulder closure
  • KY 4 (New Circle Road), inner and outer loop from Exit 18 to KY 1974, left lane closed 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists are advised to use caution, and watch for signage and personnel in work areas. All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
