LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 5, 2026) — Motorists should use caution at southbound Nicholasville Road (U.S. 27) at New Circle Road (KY 4) in Lexington as emergency responders work to clear an overturned tractor trailer involved in an early morning crash.
Currently, the southbound (outbound) lanes of Nicholasville Road are expected to remain blocked at the overpass for several hours. Northbound lanes remain unaffected. Traffic on the inner loop of New Circle Road exiting to southbound Nicholasville Road are being diverted.
Affected motorists should seek alternate routes, watch for traffic backups, and continue to use caution in the area.
