Motorists are advised to slow down, watch for crews working
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 2, 2026) — The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of rolling roadblocks on Interstate 64 in Montgomery County beginning Tuesday, March 3.
Rolling roadblocks will occur on I-64 between mile points 113 and 115, as well as at the Exit 110 ramp, beginning at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, weather permitting.
The rolling roadblocks are necessary to allow crews to safely repair multiple potholes in the area. Traffic will be temporarily slowed and, at times, stopped to allow crews to complete repairs near live traffic.
Motorists should use caution and watch for signage and personnel in the work zone.
If work is postponed due to weather, motorists should expect operations to take place the following day.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and are subject to change depending on weather and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
Residents can report road hazards, including potholes, under the “Contact Us” menu at the top of the KYTC website found here: http://transportation.ky.gov
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
