TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closure on KY 1020 (National Turnpike) on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Louisville
Routine bridge inspection scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 9, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a lane closure on KY 1020 (National Turnpike) on Tuesday, Feb. 10, in Louisville.
KYTC bridge engineers will be performing a routine inspection of the bridge on KY 1020 (National Turnpike) over the Northern Ditch River (mile point 4.9), located between Sam Drive and Yorktown Road. The northbound right lane will be closed from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, as the inspection team will be using a truck-mounted platform to complete the hands-on routine inspection of the bridge.
Motorists should heed signage, expect delays and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
