Extended Closure on Clayton Town Rd at KY/TN State Line in Calloway Co., Starts Thursday, Feb. 19
Bridge replacement project over McCullough Fork Creek
PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 16, 2026) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans an extended closure on Clayton Town Road just north of the Kentucky-Tennessee State line in southern Calloway County, starting Thursday, Feb. 19.
The road will be closed at mile point 0.17 to allow for the construction of a new bridge over McCullough Fork Creek.
Clayton Town Road joins Harmon Road near KY 893/State Line Road, about 3.5 miles east of Hazel.
Construction is expected to be completed by mid- to late April, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
Approximately 367 vehicles travel this section of Clayton Town Road in an average day.
