TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Maintenance Work on Interstate 71 South on Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Oldham County
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Jan. 5, 2026) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a lane closure on Interstate 71 South on Tuesday, Jan. 6, in Oldham County.
The right lane of I-71 South near mile marker 24 (near KY 712/Jericho Road) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6. The lane closure is necessary for KYTC crews to perform asphalt maintenance work along the interstate. Motorists should heed signage and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
