U.S. 41 in Todd County to Remain Closed for Rest of Week Due to Train Derailment
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Dec. 31, 2025) – Cleanup continues at the site of the train derailment along U.S. 41 in Todd County. As a result of the derailment and cleanup process, U.S. 41 is expected to remain closed for the rest of week between the City of Trenton in Todd County and the City of Pembroke in Christian County.
Motorists should continue to seek an alternate route. The closure is necessary for the safe cleanup of the debris and railroad cars by CSX Railroad. Crews and equipment arrived on site Tuesday and began the cleanup process. More information about the road closure will be released as it becomes available.
