TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Ramp and Lane Closure on I-265 South on Wednesday, Dec. 24, in Louisville
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 23, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a ramp and lane closure on Interstate 265 South (Gene Snyder Freeway) on Wednesday, Dec. 24, in Louisville.
The I-71 South ramp to I-265 South, and the right lane of I-265 South between mile markers 34 and 35 (near the I-71/I-265 interchange) will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Dec. 24. The ramp and lane closure are necessary for KYTC crews to complete bridge deck patching.
Motorists should heed signage, expect travel delays, and seek an alternate route.
