Contract crews to repair concrete slabs

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 3, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures on KY 841 East (Gene Snyder Freeway) and KY 1934 East (Greenbelt Highway) in Louisville. Work is scheduled to begin Friday, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m., and continue through Sunday, Dec. 7, at 12 p.m.

During this time, the right lane of KY 841 East (Gene Snyder Freeway) will be closed at mile point 1.195 (between the KY 1934 (Greenbelt Highway) and Stonestreet Road interchanges) and the left lane of KY 1934 East (Greenbelt Highway) will be closed at mile point 0.707 (just before the KY 841 (Gene Snyder Freeway) on-ramp).

The weekend lane closures are necessary for contract crews to repair concrete slabs along the corridor and to allow sufficient curing time. Motorists are urged to follow all traffic control measures and exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.

The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. For the latest traffic and travel updates across the Commonwealth of Kentucky, visit goky.ky.gov. Information specific to District 5 counties is also available on Facebook and X.
