KY 339 in Graves County to Close Near Shaw Road Starting Thursday, Dec. 4 for Bridge Replacement
PADUCAH, Ky. (Dec. 3, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans to close KY 339 at mile point 35.17 in Graves County starting Thursday, Dec. 4, to begin work on a bridge replacement project.
The bridge over Brush Creek is located between western and eastern sections of Shaw Road. This is along KY 339 between Lowes and Melber.
The existing structure is expected to be demolished starting Friday. Weather permitting, the project is estimated to be completed in the spring.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
Approximately 304 vehicles travel this section of KY 339 in an average day.
