LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Dec. 1, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane and ramp closures on KY 841 East (Gene Snyder Freeway) in Louisville. Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Dec. 2, at 7 p.m., and continue through Thursday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m.
During this time, the right lane of KY 841 East (Gene Snyder Freeway) will be closed from KY 1934 (Greenbelt Highway) at mile point 0.0 to mile point 0.3 (at the bridge over the railroad near Bethany Cemetery). Additionally, the U.S. 31W (Dixie Highway) on-ramp to KY 841 East (Gene Snyder Freeway) will be closed.
The lane and ramp closures are necessary for contract crews to repair concrete slabs along the highway and to allow sufficient curing time. Motorists are urged to follow all traffic control measures and exercise caution when traveling through the work zone.
