TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Weekend Lane Closures on I-65 South Beginning Friday, Nov. 7, in Bullitt County
Contract crews to repair concrete slabs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 6, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of weekend lane closures on Interstate 65 South in Bullitt County.
The middle and far right lane of I-65 South from mile point 118.7 (near KY 61/Preston Highway) to mile point 116.4 (near KY 480/Cedar Grove Road) will be closed from Friday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m., through Sunday, Nov. 9, at 3 p.m.
The weekend lane closures are necessary for contract crews to repair concrete slabs along the interstate and to allow sufficient curing time, which requires approximately 24 hours to reach adequate strength for traffic. Motorists are urged to follow all lane closure restrictions, exercise caution in the work zone, and plan ahead for potential delays and increased travel times.
