LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 31, 2025) – Construction for the New Circle Road (KY 4) Widening project in Lexington will require a temporary lane closure on Leestown Road (US 421) in both directions beginning tonight, Friday, Oct. 31. The closure is necessary to remove the existing pavement and construct the pavement for the new configuration.
Tonight at 7 p.m., contractors will close the far-right lane of Leestown Road in each direction near the New Circle Road ramps, between MM 1.72-1.66 (northbound) and MM 1.88-1.92 (southbound).
