Six-day closure of KY 451 in Perry County scheduled for Nov. 10-15
JACKSON, Ky. – Drivers who use KY 451 (Town Mountain) in Perry County should be prepared for a six-day closure beginning Monday, Nov. 10.
The road will be closed at milepoint 5.86 for replacement of a drainage structure. This is on the north side of Town Mountain, approximately two miles south of the Hal Rogers Parkway and KY 80 intersections. The road will be closed 24 hours a day from Nov. 10 through Saturday, Nov. 15. Portable message boards will be posted to inform motorists of the closure.
No signed detour will be posted. Drivers can use KY 15 and KY 80 to bypass the closure.
Approximately 1,700 vehicles use this section of KY 451 each day.
