UPDATE: KY 80 in Carlisle County Now Open Between Arlington Veterans Park and KY 1772

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 22, 2025) KY 80 in Carlisle County has reopened to traffic at mile point 2.48, between Arlington Veterans Park and KY 1772.

Bridge rehab work was completed ahead of schedule.

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 14, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning to close KY 80 at mile point 2.48 in Carlisle County starting Monday, Oct. 20 to begin work on a bridge rehabilitation project.

The bridge over Long Creek is located between Arlington Veterans Park and KY 1772.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by Oct. 28.

Motorists are asked to self-detour.

Approximately 490 vehicles travel this section of KY 80 in an average day.
