Maintenance Patching on KY 654 and Other Routes in Crittenden County Starting Tuesday, Oct. 21

PADUCAH, Ky. (Oct. 20, 2025)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will begin maintenance patching along several state highways in Crittenden County starting Tuesday, Oct. 21.

Work will begin on KY 654 at mile point 4.35 in the Mattoon community. Crews will work during daylight hours, starting at 8 a.m.

Additional locations scheduled for spot patching on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 22, include:

  • U.S. 60 at mile points 1.13 and 2.7, between KY 855 and KY 2132.
  • KY 135 at mile point 2.5 between Carrsville and Tolu, and mile points 9.3 and 10.4 between Tolu and KY 91.

Motorists should be alert for signage, flaggers and one-lane traffic. Please slow down and use caution in the work zone.
