Two Resurfacing Projects in Bracken County Scheduled to Begin on Tuesday, Oct. 14

A portion of Asbury Road (KY 875) and Dutch Ridge Road (KY 2370) will receive new surface

COVINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 9, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of two upcoming resurfacing projects in Bracken County beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Crews will be resurfacing a portion of two state routes:

  • Asbury Road (KY 875) from Brooksville-Germantown Road (KY 10) (mile point 6.18) to Dutch Ridge Road (KY 2370) (mile point 9.24), a distance of 3.06 miles.
  • Dutch Ridge Road (KY 2370) beginning just north of Hargetts Lane (mile point 3.99) extending northerly to Augusta-Minerva Road (KY 435) (mile point 5.24), a distance of 1.25 miles.

Work will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 14, with milling/paving operations on Dutch Ridge Road. Once that portion of the project is complete, crews will shift operations to Asbury Road. KYTC will provide an update on the District 6 Roadshow when that work is scheduled.

A single lane closure will be in place during daytime working hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with flaggers on-site to direct traffic.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, use caution when traveling in the area and consider alternate routes when possible.

H G Mays Corp. is contracted to perform the $317,747 project on behalf of KYTC. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early November.

Project schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
