Update - Operations postponed for

Interstate 75 in Madison County

Work has been rescheduled

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 23, 2025)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. Mowing operations around panel signs has been rescheduled due to inclement weather.

Update:

  • work did not take place on Monday, Sept. 22 and will not be in effect for Tuesday, Sept. 23 due to inclement weather
  • operations will be rescheduled

Monday, Sept. 22 12 a.m. (midnight) until 6 a.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 2312 a.m. (midnight) until 6 a.m.

Interstate 75

  • work will begin at Duncannon Lane/Exit 83 and progress to the Fayette-Madison County line (milepoint 97.7)

The traveling public should expect delays during the hours of scheduled repair operations.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
