I-275 CARROLL CROPPER BRIDGE UPDATE
The scaffolding plan for the bridge has received final approval. Starting the week of Sept. 21, crews will begin installing scaffolding to prepare for floor beam repairs.
Once those repairs officially begin, we’ll provide another update along with a revised completion date for the overall project. Floor beam repairs are the final phase of work for the project.
KENTON AND CAMPBELL COUNTIES
A preventive maintenance project on several routes in Kenton and Campbell counties is now complete. For a list of all the locations, read our original press release here.
The project included crack sealing, electrical work and the application of a thin asphalt overlay known as a thinlay. Thinlays are used as a pavement preservation treatment to restore surface conditions and extend the service life of roads that are still structurally sound.
BOONE AND KENTON COUNTIES
A guardrail installation project on a portion of River Road (KY 8) and Richwood Road (KY 338) is now complete.
