Lane closure for Glensboro Road/KY 44 in Anderson County
Slide repair operations between milepoints 6.9 – 7.1
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 11, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that a lane will be closed on Glensboro Road/KY 44 due to a slide. Repair operations are being performed by the Anderson County Maintenance Crew.
Friday, Sept. 12 – 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Glensboro Road/KY 44 - Eastbound
- one lane will be closed due to slide repairs between milepoints 6.9 – 7.1
- a temporary signal will be in place for motorists to follow
- one lane will remain open
- expect delays
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
