Location: Troubadour formerly the “Log Cabin,” Pikeville
PIKEVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 08, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will host a public meeting on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, to present preliminary design plans for Town Mountain Road. The project’s purpose is to improve roadway geometrics, mitigate hazardous rockfalls, increase capacity, and provide a more direct/alternate route to downtown Pikeville from U.S. 119.
Meeting Format
- Open-house event: 4:00–7:00 PM at the Troubadour “Log Cabin.”
- No formal presentation. Community members may stop by anytime to review displays, ask questions, discuss the project, and share comments.
How to Provide Feedback
- Comment window: through October 11, 2025.
- After the meeting, the display boards, handout, and comment form will be posted on the KYTC District 12 webpage:
