Bridge Rehab Project to Temporarily Close KY 1382

in Graves County, South of KY 94, Starting on Sept. 4

PADUCAH, Ky. (Sept. 3, 2025)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a temporary closure on KY 1382, south of KY 94, in Graves County starting on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Crews will be rehabilitating the bridge at mile point 2.85 over Powell Creek. It is located on KY 1382 between KY 94 and the Kentucky-Tennessee State Line.

The bridge is currently posted with a 11-ton weight limit, which restricts access.

The project is expected to be completed in about three weeks, weather permitting.

Approximately 71 vehicles travel this section of KY 1382 in an average day.

Motorists are asked to self-detour.
