Operations scheduled for Scott County
Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Sept. 2, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows. The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic. Motorists can pass through the work zones.
Scott County – intersections
Tuesday, Sept. 2 – currently and until 5 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 3 through Friday, Sept. 5 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily
- US 62/Morgan – milepoint 10.9
- US 62/KY 32 – milepoint 11
- US 62/Darby Lane – milepoint 11.1
- KY 620/Shims Pike Railroad – milepoint 19
