Speed Limit Reduced Along KY 135 in the City of Carrsville in Livingston County

PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 27, 2025)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has reduced speed limits along KY 135 in Livingston County. Signs are being installed today.

A new 35-mph speed limit is now in effect on KY 135 from near Fleet Street to just beyond the Main Street/First Street intersection, or about mile points 11.3 to 11.85, in Carrsville.

Additionally, KYTC has designated two 45-mph transition zones extending a quarter mile before and after the 35-mph speed zone.

Approximately 101 vehicles travel this section of KY 135 in an average day.

Once signs are posted, the new speed limits will be active and subject to enforcement.
