Dorena-Hickman Ferry to Temporarily Close for Annual Dredging Operations

PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 23, 2025) — The Dorena-Hickman Ferry will be closing at about 3:30 p.m. today, Saturday, Aug. 23 due to dredging operations in the area.
The ferry will notify the public of its reopening via their Facebook page.

The Dorena-Hickman Ferry connects KY 1354 at Hickman, Kentucky, with Missouri Route A and Route 77 near Dorena, Missouri.
