Two-Week Closure Planned on Linda Mel Drive at its intersection with U.S. 60 Starting Thursday, Aug. 21
KY 2532/County Line Road closure extended until Sept. 17
PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 20, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning a two-week closure on Linda Mel Drive at its intersection with U.S. 60 in McCracken County, starting at 7 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 21.
This is part of the realignment work connecting U.S. 60 to the new section of U.S. 60 near Kevil.
Linda Mel Drive is located at about U.S. 60 mile point 1.17, between Roberts Road and Kingsway Drive.
Motorists are asked to self-detour. The roadway is expected to reopen on or about September 4.
Also, as part of this ongoing project, the closure on KY 2532/County Line Road, from Crossett Road to U.S. 60 near the Ballard-McCracken County Line, has been extended until September 17 to accommodate additional utility work.

PADUCAH, Ky. (Aug. 1, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) is planning an extended closure of KY 2532/County Line Road from Crossett Road to U.S. 60, or about mile points 4 to 5.35, starting at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6.
This section near the Ballard-McCracken County Line will be closed for approximately four weeks while crews rebuild entrances and realign KY 2532/County Line Road with the new U.S. 60.
The roadway is expected to reopen on about September 3, weather permitting.
Motorists are asked to self-detour.
