Operations scheduled for Scott County
Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 18, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows. The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic. Motorists can pass through the work zones.
Scott County – intersections
Tuesday, August 19 through Friday, August 22 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day
- US 25 at Lusby – milepoint 2.25
- US 25 at Washington Square – milepoint 2.5
- US 25 at Showwalter – milepoint 2.7
- US 25 at Pochantas – milepoint 3.0
- US 460 at East Washington – milepoint 10.2
- US 62 at Morgan – milepoint 10.9
- US 62 at KY 32 – milepoint 11.0
- US 62 at Darby Lane – milepoint 11.1
- KY 620 at Shims Pike Railroad – milepoint 19.0
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
