Operations scheduled for Fayette County
Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 18, 2025) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows. The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic. Motorists can pass through the work zones.
Fayette County
Monday, August 18 – currently and until 5 p.m.
Tuesday, August 19 through Friday, August 22 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. each day
- US 27/US 68 – between milepoints 10.4 and 16.0
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
