Pothole Repairs Scheduled for I-64 and I-75 in Scott, Woodford, and Fayette Counties This Week
Work will take place in the evening and overnight
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 11, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole work taking place on I-64 and I-75 this week. All work will take place overnight and rolling roadblocks will be in place. Motorists should expect delays.
I-64 - Westbound
- Thursday, Aug. 14, starting at 6 p.m.
- Scott County at the 70 MM (near Exit 69, U.S. 62/Paynes Depot Rd.), proceeding into Woodford County to the Woodford-Franklin County line.
- Rolling roadblocks will be in place for the duration, and work is expected to be completed by 2 a.m.
I-75 - North and Southbound
- Thursday, Aug. 14, starting at 6 p.m.
- Fayette County from the 117 MM (two miles north of Newtown Pike at the I-64/I-75 northern split) to the 120 MM (the 1973/Ironworks Pike exit)
- Work will start on the Southbound lanes, then move to the Northbound lanes.
- Rolling roadblocks will be in place for the duration, and work is expected to be completed by 2 a.m.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
