Traffic Advisory: Paving Next Week on KY 1711 and KY 1 in Greenup County
Expect flagged traffic
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (August 8, 2025) – Mountain Enterprise will begin paving on Monday, August 11, on KY 1711 (Greenbo Road) milepoint 0.00 – to milepoint 1.89 next week, in Greenup County. This will be daytime work 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. and traffic will be controlled by flaggers. This paving should be complete on Tuesday, August 12, weather permitting.
On Wednesday, August 13, paving will begin on KY 1 in Greenup County, from milepoint 0 to milepoint 0.56. Paving is scheduled to be completed by Friday, August 15. This will also be daytime work 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. with traffic controlled by flaggers.
Road work schedules may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling.
The work is being done by Mountain Enterprises, Inc., under a $287, 652.33 Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contract.
