Emergency Road Aid Funds Awarded to Geenup County for $39,680
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (July 29, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet today announced that Greenup County will receive $39,680 in County Road Aid emergency funds for a slide repair on Hoods Run Road (CR1338).
The repairs will make travel safer for motorists, pedestrians, school buses and other vehicles that rely upon Hoods Run Road.
"The Transportation Cabinet is pleased to approve this request for funding to provide assistance to Elliott County to repair and maintain safe connections in the community," said Transportation Secretary Jim Gray.
The Greenup County Fiscal Court is responsible for administering the work.
